Created at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel in 1894, to commemorate the premier of an Operetta under the same name, this cocktail is a close cousin to the Manhattan, with Scotch Whisky taking the place of its American counterpart. INGREDIENTS
30ml / 1oz 9diDANTE INFERNO 60ml / 2oz Scotch Whisky 3 Dashes Angostura bitters
HOW DO I MAKE IT?
1 - Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass with abundant ice and stir until chilled, about 30-45 seconds
2 - Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
3 - Garnish with a Maraschino cherry
