The Cardinale cocktail quickly became one of the symbols of Rome’s Dolce Vita, after its creation at The Excelsior Hotel in 1950. These were the great days of Italian cinema at Cine Città, when Hollywood stars and the international jetset would bring Via Veneto to life.
The Cardinale is much more than a twist on the mighty Negroni. The Dry Vermouth makes the drink lighter and dryer, surprising you with every sip.
